On the Road
Howdy, everyone. I have been wanting to put something up here for the past 4 days, but I have been in the most rural places where I had no access to the internet. My cell phone didn't even work. I'm at a Super 8 with wireless so I'll put something up quick. I am thankful for the opportunity to share with people out here in South Dakota; Menno, Harrison, Platte, and New Holland. They are wonderful people who are excited to hear what is happening in missions around the world and at home. We had some small twisters touch down on Sunday morning in Menno and just about didn't have church. There was debris everywhere. The power was out, but it came on again halfway through a window lit service. Many of the folks in these communities are aging. Their farms are shrinking and children are moving away. In short, the churches are shrinking. Some will probably close within the next 10 years or so. But, none-the-less, they prayerfully and financially support mission...
