Following the Spirit
This is a follow up post to the sermon from this past Sunday. I am curious to know how you believe the Holy Spirit moves in your life. Maybe we can share some stories here. I shared just a few things where I know the Holy Spirit has moved in my life; speaking through me at times I least expect it, guidance in my study and my decisions. Have you ever wondered whether or not the things you said to someone were at all helpful? You remember saying something, but felt that it wasn't very profound or insightful. You remember saying a quiet prayer asking for God's help, but weren't sure anything worthwhile came out of your mouth. I've done that and later found out that what I said really spoke to the person. It reminds me of Matthew 10 where Jesus sends out his disciples. In verse 19 and 20 it says... "19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it.
